I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Melbourne, a Research Fellow at the Melbourne Energy Institute, and a Research Affiliate at CESifo. Prior to that, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UCSD. I received my PhD from the Institute of International Economic Studies in 2023.
My research primarily delves into the decarbonization of the transport sector, encompassing two core areas: (1) the investigation of factors influencing electric vehicle (EV) adoption and (2) the assessment of policies facilitating the transition to low-emission transportation. My current research is specifically centered on designing congestion charges and charging infrastructure, social interactions in EV adoption, EV weight dynamics, the fuel efficiency of heavy-duty vehicles, and targeting EV subsidies.
