Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer)

University of Melbourne

Department of Economics

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Melbourne and a Research Affiliate at CESifo. Prior to that, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UCSD. I received my PhD from the Institute of International Economic Studies in 2023.

I am an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on environmental applications at the interface of public and behavioral economics. My research primarily delves into the decarbonization of the transport sector, encompassing two core areas: (1) the investigation of factors influencing electric vehicle (EV) adoption and (2) the assessment of policies facilitating the transition to low-emission transportation. My current research is specifically centered on designing congestion charges and charging infrastructure, social interactions in EV adoption, EV weight dynamics, the fuel efficiency of heavy-duty vehicles, and targeting EV subsidies.
